Shock FAQ
What is Shockabuku?
Well shock started out really as Oni and I walking around the gym talking. I (Novaura) admited to creating a character (Kitty) to go with a show that was reruning on the Sci-Fi channel. Oni then admited to me that she had done the same with Simoriah for various anime. If you have kept up with shock you know which two shows I'm talking about. After a bit of proding on my part we began to combine their adventures. The very first Sim and Kitty adventure was actually created over the phone as a dream sequence but was never written down. HA! Betcha thought I wouldn't remember!
What does Shockabuku mean?
I stole the word Shockabuku from the movie Gross Point Blank (c). It means a swift spiritual kick in the head that alters your reality forever. We actually chose this name about two months after the series had started.
Who are the triumverate?
The triumverate actually consisted of Gauis Pompey, Julius Caesar and Licinius Crassus back in Rome. The meaning of the word is "rule of three men". In the case of shock the triumverate consisted of myself (Novaura), Oni-Chan, and Tenshi. Tenshi however was dropped from the ranks of Shock and is never to be spoken of again.
